1. The surface state of tungsten steel has a great influence on its bending strength. In the process of manufacturing tungsten steel tools, various cracks on the surface should be prevented, otherwise it will have a great impact on the bending strength of tungsten steel.

2. The brittleness of tungsten steel is very high and has nothing to do with temperature. At room temperature, the impact toughness of quenched steel is 1-2 times greater than that of tungsten steel. Therefore, the welding of tungsten steel is not allowed to tungsten steel impact compression. Do not collide or be impacted by each other during transportation.

3. It is important to understand the linear expansion coefficient of tungsten steel, which is more than double that of high-speed steel. In tungsten steel and high-speed steel welding, due to the difference in linear expansion coefficient of tungsten steel and high-speed steel, the welding die cooling, the inner and outer layer of the stress is different, forming inward tensile stress on the surface. After welding, measures should be taken to eliminate the stress, otherwise the tungsten steel will produce cracks or deswelding phenomenon.
